With each room corresponds a creator of the U.A.M. created in 1930 by Francis Jourdain, Eileen Gray, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand. It is thus the French U.A.M. presented artist by artist: the personal room of Eileen Gray and Helene Henry, the "chambre de l'enfant" of the "la maison de verre" (national treasure) realized by Pierre Chareau in 1925, are first impression of the prestige of the sources.

On this floor, in particular devoted at the U.A.M., each piece-rates evokes an artist U.A.M. These pieces of furniture belong or to the artists themselves or are prestigious particular orders (each object has its history)
 
   

Furniture and personal effects of Eileen Gray, Dunand, Perriand, Chareau, Mallet-Stevens, Francis Jourdain, Sognot and Alix or of source exceptional: Maharajah d' Indore, Madeleine Vionnet, Jacques Doucet, Mallet-Stevens, President Tardieu, Ruhlmann.
Here it is "modernity" in all its forms which is represented, with fabrics of origin, lacquers of origin, new matters, new plastics, metals…
